Hey All!

I'm thinking of submitting a resume to Flight Express coming up and was wondering if anyone had any experiences/stories with them? I know their pilot basing is on seniority and whatnot, but how long does it usually take to get the base you want? I'm presently down in Tampa and it'd be great to fly out of here, but how long would I have to put in up north to get it? Any info about their flying operations and how the planes are would be appreciated. Thanks for any help!

I worked at flight-depressed for about a year, ground hog day. I almost failed out of training and I had the northern most line. The first time I took that 210 into ice I almost ran out of fluid to keep the windshield from icing up. I only made 84 bucks a day. When I finished I was bullet proof I could fly that 210 anywhere in all types of conditions. When you start out you will $hit yourself a few times, but in the end it’s worth it. Ernst will fire you if you don’t do a good job, but if you do a good job for him he will be your best friend. He has wrote me letters of rec. Most fun and hell I have ever had thanks Flight Express

I have never heard of Ernst firing somebody because they just dont do a good job.

If your in cruise why would you use all of your fluid to keep ice off the windshield?

Good place to work, pay is between 20,000-37,000 depending on the run.

When I was there he did fire people, some were screw up's.

When you want to land you got to be able to see the runway. Can't see much by sticking your head out the window and lack of experience on my part in ice. Should have never taken off.

$20,000-37,000 I want back pay

The ever-elusive baron run, I thought those runs fiction. Is that hippie lettuce smoking dude still there? I think they called him “Dude” wasn’t he based in CRG?

I dont think so. I think Flight Express is his first real flying job.
I dont think Comair would like him carring his surfboard and guitar around
