Wow. Lots of hostility on this one. I vote to continue the question at hand. Unless that would sound "unionistic" (my word!). If that's the case vote no. Oops, but that would make you less of an individual if you vote, and maybe lose a sense of self.
Crap.
What was the question again?
You can see you're embarrassed because you actually said it was a story you made up. Now we're given a little more insight into who the man is. You say courage to stand up for what he believes in. I say someone who only looks out for himself while his coworkers bear the brunt of the effect of him crossing the line. Of course i'm sure he enjoyed the benefits of the new contract his fellow workers got while he got to play both sides of the fence.
Like Benedict Arnold?....sounds like he was the one making the bigger sacrifice for what he believed in.
Like Benedict Arnold?
How hard is it knowing you are putting your families income on hold to carry those signs around? Knowing that you might not come back to work but you believe in the cause that strong.
Yet some people sneak through the line because they equate values with income. They make excuses, but in the reality they couldn't make the same sacrifices for the greater good of all employees.
Sound about right? Sure does.
