By my math, the average raise (effective May 1) was 15.11%. The highest raises were Learjet Captains from year 4-6, at about 21%.

On average, the new 15 day line (195 days) pays $2721 better than the old 17 day line (221 days).

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

While I for one like our raises, and am happy at Flexjet, I fail to remember where on the hand outs there is any mention of a "new 15 day line". The pay is based on 202 days and 214.5 days, and this is from the hand outs.

Where is this 15 day line coming from and how is PBS going to support it? Also, is this better pay just for year 4 to 5 Learjet Captains or across the board?

I assume if you have the authority to hold it, you can work 15/month. Of course, that remains to be seen.

Across the board, though the year 4-6 captains did the best. The average is a 15.11% raise,

CAVEAT: That figure includes such mythical beasts as a Year 1 Captain. (I doubt there have been any of those since the 90's. Also, for those unfamiliar, Captains at Flexjet transition to the Captain payscale at years of service minus one.) Lear Captains got about a 21% raise, and Challenger Captains got in the 11-12% range. New hire pay is up about 16%, other FOs are up 12%.

Ok, here's some creative math. I added up the FO pay scale year 1-6, the LJ Captain payscale, year 4-8, and the Challenger Captain pay scale, years 7-12, and found that the yearly pay for an average of 16 (208/yr.) days per month is $6200 more than the old scale 221 day line. For a 6 year LJ Captain, the difference is just shy of $14K. For new hires, $4300. For CL Skippers, the difference ranges from $6200-$8000.

YOUR WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please pass the Kool-aide

I must have stumbled into the Flex Cheerleading thread. What are you smokin' Yellow Belly? (I need some) Or maybe it's just that company Kool-aide!
"I assume if you have the authority to hold it, you can work 15/month"

Yeah...What ever dude. Even if your senior enough to hold it...You WON'T with the PBS still around.

-QOL issues... still not addressed.
-Holiday pay?.... Nope
-In rest calls... Oh, just don't answer (don't go there)
-etc.

Do some more math. (You seem to enjoy it) Yes, I see your pretty little percentages. The Bar has been set much higher (thanx to NJA). Take your 214.5, 202, 208, or whatever. We are still working more than 184 days a year. Why should I be satisfied working 214.5 days a year (reality = 221 days a year)?

Dig a little deeper before you start spoutin' off this 15 day line crap. If you're gettin' it, you're one of 3 or 4.

Bottom Line: What your sayin' is that a day worked at Flex is worth less than a day worked at NJA or CS. Well, if your happy with that, Good for you! The rest of us will keep the demanding what we are truly worth as a pilot group!!

BTW, Did you get some good money for that TAG you sold on E-Bay?

Thanx!
At least it got the ball rollin'

I believe a lot of pilots from the other 3 fractionals have thanked the NJA guys for their fight and subsequent changes in the fracitonal industry. If you doubt it, do a search.

CL300Pilot -- why did you edit it was a GREAT post -- very on the point.

Based on the new payscales presented at the meeting, if I work 184 days (now industry standard) at the NEW rate, I will get a whopping $16 more per paycheck -- not even enough to take my kids out for ice cream.

Now if I could actually work just 184, I wouldn't be b*tching. 90% of the guys on BB said flat out give us less days for lateral pay FIRST, help us with QOL and then we'll worry about the rest. They did NOT listen.

I just want to know how much extra Belly is getting for the cheerleading -- maybe a standards capt getting his pudding 3 months before the rest? -- might explain his break with reality. Be careful Belly, in some places they'll lock your a$$ away in the looney bin for being that out of touch.
