I am going to apply to Flexjet and just had a few questions before doing so. Thanks in advance for any help you provide.

1) Do pilots swap legs and seats?

2) When does pay start?

3) Do they pay for hotel during initial training?

4) Is it realistic to be offered the CL30 as a new hire?

5) How are expenses on the road paid for?

6) Do they type all pilots?

7) How much can a new hire reasonably expect to make and what is the schedule like?

8) How much flying do the Flex pilot average a day?

Once again, thanks in advance and please feel free to add any additional info you think might come in handy.

1) Do pilots swap legs and seats? Yes, there are some Captains who won't swap though

2) When does pay start? first day of training

3) Do they pay for hotel during initial training? yes

4) Is it realistic to be offered the CL30 as a new hire? yes, but the 45 is the most likely offer

5) How are expenses on the road paid for? fill out an expense report at the end of rotation and send in to get reimbursed, most things can be put on the comany card though

6) Do they type all pilots? yes

7) How much can a new hire reasonably expect to make and what is the schedule like? 40k, 15.5 days per month

8) How much flying do the Flex pilot average a day? 4hrs

Once again, thanks in advance and please feel free to add any additional info you think might come in handy.

CptSplash is right on.

Just want to add that they will hire you on whatever their needs are at the time and your background. There is a shortage of CL300 pilots due to class availability and not enough a/c on property.

Plan on flying 4-7hrs a day and working 16 of a 28 day period.

Good luck.

well...i would not agree on the planning to work 16. On my second bid period after getting hired I got 14 days on

and I also think that in your first year you will make closer to 50K with the overtime pay, per diem, moving expense check (if you get it), and yearly company bonus. Just a guess tho...
