Any of you Independence guys get hired the last few days at Flexjet?? If so, welcome aboard and yes, it is getting better at flexjet. Anyone care to share your experience while they were there? How did it go?? Anyone know how many of you got hired???

Which aircraft are they getting hired onto - what approximate % are going to the Lear 40/45 vs. the CL300 vs. the L60 vs. the 604? Which aircraft are most likely for newhires given current needs?

We're getting more 300's than anything this year so that would be my guess where the majority are going. They'll be in the 45 in 2 years though anyway.

The Indy guys will bring alot to the table at Flexjet and the Indy girls are hot (plus they can fly cirlces around the guys!). Looks like a win win...

Hey Folks. I was one of the guys hired this week at the job fair. As I posted in another thread, I thought it was funny to see Flex and NJ both interviewing across the hall from each other. We were very relaxed and shooting the sh%t in the Flex conference room, and in the NJ room they were taking written tests. Plus, The Flex folks worked very, very, very hard that day and stayed past 8pm, while NJ packed up at 5pm. Kinda showed me who cared more about meeting us and offereing us jobs.

I know they filled a 300 class next week with our guys (the next 300 class after that was in march), along with a 40/45 the next week, and I was put in the last slot of a 60 class feb 9th, and i noticed more names written down for other slots later in feb. So it looks like a boatload of us will be joining you.

I'm looking foward to it! Should be a good time....

Not for nothing. NJA interviewed approximatly 120 pilots there over the last few days. My guess is 2/3-3/4 will get offers. And how many ACA guys have we hired in the last 12 months!?! Many.
Sorry, it is not Burger King. You do have to interview. Maybe the reason Flex is so nice and makes you take it or leave it on the spot is because they have other issues.

Good luck.

Well true....NJ obviously likes indy pilots too. I was just impressed that Flex stayed late to make sure everybody who wanted to talk to them got a chance. Not everybody who wanted a NJ interview got one.

Both companies have things going for them. I'm sure our pilots will be happy at either company.

Heard the number was 55 pilots. Figure that if you can't get a position on one of the Challenger than take what you can get. 604 would always be the first choice, but I hear people like to fly to CL300. I know the people that are in IAD doing the hiring and I'm not surprised that they kept the doors open late for everybody to get their apps in.
