FYI,

At Netjets as an F/O, expect to make anywhere from $5,000-$15,000 more than your base salary per year. It all depends on how much O/T you get on your first day of a tour, per diem, etc. On average I would say 7 on/7 off pilots make about $50k in yr one and $55k in yr two.

Great contract guys:beer:

Go to our IBT Flexjet sight:rolleyes:

FlexO,

Dang man, what happened to you? You're on a Flex rampage today! Here's what I see, assuming you are a family of 3, make captain in year 3 AND work 16 day schedule:

OVER A 14 YEAR PERIOD:

Total days worked per yr:
FLEXJET: 208
NETJET: 184

Total wages earned:
FLEXJET: $1,162,518
NETJET: $1,389,310

Insurance Cost:
FLEXJET: $32,760
NETJET: $0

Vacation Days per year LESS THAN NETJETS:
YEARS 1-5: 16X5= 80
YEARS 5-10: 14X5= 70
YEARS 10-20: 22X5= 110
TOTAL LOSS OVER 14 YEARS: 260 DAYS

PAID HOLIDAYS:
FLEXJET: NONE
NETJET: ALL

CREWMEAL SELECTIONS:
FLEXJET: NO
NETJET: YES

Someone tell me how I can convince ANYONE to come to work at Flexjet?

Don't let the NJA pilots see this, they think they have it so rough

WE put a lot of hard work in to make it better. WE will stand behind you and support your efforts to make it better on your side of the fence. WE all paid our dues in this industry in one way shape or form.

Good luck with your efforts. As I posted on another thread, healthy frax companies across the board will help us all.

I do not think know one is a pilot anywhere.

Long layover at the FBO with no cable or what?

I, for one, found the comparison educational and interesting. (Thanks, Art!) It shows what the industry standard is and gives the other frac pilots a clear look at their own situation. In my opinion, just reading that post  is enough to make pilots send in their cards. Those in the industry are all doing essentially the same job. There shouldn't be such big disparities.

1108--CHANGING THE FRACTIONAL INDUSTRY, A COMPANY AT A TIME

NetJets vers FlexJet

Do SIC get type-ratings on their certificate's at Flex?
How does the scheduling work at Flex?
At NetJets it clear to me: 7 on - 7 off
But at Flex you got the number of days a year you work?
Capt: 221, 208, 195
F/O: 214, 202, 195
http://www.airlinepilotcentral.com/airlines/fractional/flexjet-20050307107.htm
How does that work into a weekly or monthly schedule?
Art V. is flex not the place to be?

you guys should be a regional airline FO.....what is a crew meal? I have never heard of one....Coming from a regional as a FO to a Fractional is a drastic improvement. If things work maybe my family will be off of food stamps.....I will know in two weeks.

Of course everything is always relative finnjl. I mean, I'm rich compared to some people.

CAPT JD: Flexjet isn't a "bad" place, its that netjets is just a better deal. That airlinpilotcentral site isn't entirely accurate. As of May 1, we are guaranteed 16 days a month pay in 13 bid periods. That is 208 days.

Finnjl, the regional industry is a mess, as well. The fact that pilots can qualify for govt assistance is a little known (to the public) but deplorable fact. You guys need to take a stand, too. Best of luck to you and your family. I hope things work out for you.

thank god thats tounge in cheek

well you are definetly starting at the bottom

I fully support that idea!

Regional pilots/families have it as bad as Fractional pilots/families.
None of it is right and I think that all concerned should speak out.

ummm no. Let them fight amongst themselves.

There will allways be some company trying to fill a 300hr wonder job.

What about those in the group that don't feel that way? Perhaps they're the "silent majority" that would begin to speak out if they were aware just how many shared their viewpoint? I know that 1108 has benefited from the efforts of those , like my husband, that believe in fighting for what is right. Apathy and bad leadership had taken a terrible toll until SU stepped up to lead the NJ pilots. Any similar group in another industry, especially those faced with the same problems, is deserving of our support/encouragement. Remember that deserving actually means they have already earned it.

PILOTS ARE PROFESSIONALS AND SHOULD BE COMPENSATED/TREATED AS SUCH

Best Wishes to all who are working toward that goal!
