If on your last day you ended up some place cool or you had family/friends there and you wanted to stay a few days. What are your options?

Could you postpone your airline ticket a few days and call your self off duty at the last stop of your last day?

Thanks!

They will fly you home when you want and also fly you anywhere else other than your base but, only if it costs the same or less. Keep in mind if you're in say GSO and you're based in ONT, and you want to be flown to LAS; they will do that if the LAS ticket is equal or less than it is to get you to ONT; however, it's up to you to find your way home from there.

Thats good to know that they would work with you if you wanted to hang around after you got released. Thanks!

Sometimes they will send a CL 300 and take you anywhere you want, just as long as its in the lower 48.

I have done delayed travel and it is a great perk. Finished somewhere cool, called scheduling to ask if they could delay me a couple of days and once I was able to pickup a 604 heading to Boca instead of commerical.
