Hey, Gang,
I seriously don't know if I immagined this or not...
A few days after 9-11, I saw a quick newsreel (NBC, CNN, whoever) of an airliner (I think it was American) taxiing through BOS, with the co-pilot waving the American Flag out of the window in one of those "more than patriotic momments". Any one else re-call something like this? I may have the airport and/or company mixed up. I seem to think it was a 757.
I want to get a picture of that, but don't have enough information to track it down.
Thanks.

Hmm...

I'm sure you could search the CNN archives for 9-11 under "more than patriotic momments". If anyone has a file labeled that, it would be them.

I like flag waving.

Or it coulda been the Saab taxiing around PIT on 9/11/03 with a flag out the "sunroof". Not that I would've had anything to do with that, of course.

I.P.

Wish I could've seen it:)

I remember that, he had the flag out, the plane was moving, the flag was streaming behind pretty good. Like an image of defiance. I'll keep my eyes out.

It was an American MD-80 series...88, 90, whatever. A Mad Dog.
