I finally soloed today and it was awesome experience. I am sure you guys have heard about all this before but I had to tell someone else besides my wife. It was great feeling but, when my instructor asked for my log book my throat went dry. Everything went just fine except it sure got hot in there by myself. I just wanted to thank everyone for all the advice and information and I can't wait to learn even more.

VERY NICE!

Keep up the good work.

Remember, you never really know all there is to know about flying. We are all learning about ourselves, thru our flying experiences. Never get complacent!

Next step..... Your Private Pilot License!

Good Luck.

First solo

Congratulations! No one ever forgets his/her "first time." ;)

Good luck with the rest of your training.

Hi...

Congrats! Keep working hard. The rewards are endless.

Regards

It get's better from here

Congrats on the SOLO. Now that you have that under your belt, or off your back (T-shirt cut) then get ready for the really fun stuff. Practice, Practice, Practice. If you thought the stalls and ground reference maneuvers were something with the instructor on board, you will be more aprehensive when getting into them by yourself. Be safe, when in doubt...power up, clean up, settle down and try it again. Rember one thing...Go arounds are free!

I know this is a little after the fact, but get back with the plane (same one!), your cfi and take pics! Wish I had done this myself.

congratulations, and be careful. When you think you know it all or can use no one's advice, you better be sure your life insurance is paid up. But have fun too.

We're all proud.

Mine was July 5, 1986, and I remember it like a film loop.

Fly every flight like you're a 747 captain and you'll do fine.
