But I would give 40 million dollars or more just to have Bruce flying again. .

I will gladly take you up on that offer.. I will hire him to start at 150K/yr with full bennies. He can fly whenever he wants and take off whenever he wants. No training agreement and I will also send him to get recurrent and typed on a new jet of his choice each year. I will also give you 12 free first class tickets per year to fly your son in. You don't see many offers like this around. So, act now-slots are limited... Please make that 40+ Million check out to Galaxy.
Thanks

FlyUnited, I don't know if you were aware of this, but MissKittyKat's fiance' passed recently.

Or maybe Bruce was her husband...I knew they were engaged, but I didn't know if they had their ceremony yet. Either way, she lost a man she loved very much.

I miss my family when I am flying. It is so good to come home to my newborn son and my wife.

I miss mine too. I've been marred for 15 years and until January had never been away from my wife and five kids. I took ths crappy 135 cargo job and was in ORL for 6 weeks and STL since. They live iin ORD so I get home about once a month.
Now I just took a job in MKE and hope to be able to get home every day after training and whenever my schedule allows. I'm just hoping that I don't have to sit reserve because I can't make the 90 min. callout from home.

I am getting married in less than 2 weeks.. and right now one of my biggest fears is that when we decide to have kids, my kid won't recognise me when I get home.. However, I have spoken to alot of guys I fly with with newborns, etc and they say not to worry..

There was a point when my little boy didnt recognize me when I came home after being gone for a while. It took him a day or so to warm up to me again. This only lasted a few months. Now his mom has taught him to say things like "come home daddy" and "I miss you daddy" It makes it really hard to be away when he does that.

Well wrong on all accounts. Just expressing the realities of life in aviation.

Wow... do tell. Are you a REAL PILOT? I am SO impressed. Tell me about the realities of aviation, I haven't experienced any of that.

SLAP.

Kids are awesome, waking up for the 3 am feeding sucks. I know. Being away sucks, at the same time its great to get away.
