Hi Folks:
Well I've been reading this site for quite some time both for informative reasons and entertainment purposes.
Anyway, I have a specific question regarding my situation: I started training part time in 2001(while working outside of aviation) and as of now have accumulated about 300 hours along with commercial certificate(single and multi), instrument rating, as well as some fun things like tailwheel and seaplane. I just passed my single-engine commercial add-on last month. I trained for that rating from the right seat, because my plan now is to work on getting the CFI, hopefully by the end of the summer or by early fall. So things seem to be going according to plan. My question is this: would it be a good idea in the meantime to pursue a summer flying job like banner towing? or flying skydivers? Is it feasible with my low time? I live in Queens, New Yawk City(all my life) so I was thinking there might be some opportunities along Long Island or Jersey Shore. I think there is a skydiving operation out at Calverton. Even if something like that were to come to fruition I would still want to become a CFI. Any suggestions and guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
