Congratulations! You have 1499 hours to go until you can get your ATP.
LOL :p

I'd go with Gulfstream 200's advice,;) if things don't get better switch CFIs; a good CFI is essential.:)

I think you need a new instructor.

Her behavior was unprofessional as an instructor, and did not serve your needs as a first time student.

If she needs some clarification of her duties as an instructor, she can post her questions here. I'm sure both male and female instructors would line up to comment.

Please do not assume that this is business as usual for an aviation professional.

Lesson 2

Well today was better, no radio love going on. We worked on trimming the plane and holding alt. and heading. Then we worked on holding slow speed heading and alt. Then we did a tiny bit of power on stalls and power off stalls. (and **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** that was kind of scary) Then we also did some work on slow speed with full flaps. ATC kept moving us around alot. I also worked on doing radio calls.

It is still kind of scary up there, especially today cause it was really rough. Getting better though, and I think she did alot better job today.

You will find that your idea of "really rough" will change quite a bit over the next few years.

This flight really should have been what you had on Wednesday.

I usually defend instructors when students gripe, but your first flight on Wednesday was inexcusable. Keep us updated.

I agree with Bobby. I would shop for a new instructor. There is never a second chance to make a first impression. Don't worry about offending her, she should have known better. Most schools have weather mimimums that they have to abide by. I'd check that out

Wow I found this old post of mine that I forgot about. Here is a long over due update.

Well its been a long time since my first flight. I dont know what happened on that first flight, but she turned out to be the coolest and best CFI I could have hoped for. I ended up logging about 95 hours dual with her alot of it from going on a lot of unnecessary cross countries just to go get dinner or a weekend trip. I'm just learning to fly for the fun of it so I wasnt in any hurry to get my certificate, just as long as I was having fun. I'm just glad I didnt give up on her after that first leason because I ended up having a blast.

She moved on to Airnet about 4 months ago now, and lessons just arent fun anymore. But that might have to do with the fact that she was a 22 year old hot female and now I have a 23 year old male!

"I ended up logging about 95 hours dual with her....."

With that much dual did you get your private certificate? If not, did you at least get a kiss, cause you sure got f@cked!
