Cessna 150's over pretty rugged terrain. It's a great way for a lowtimer to build the crucial hours needed to get a better job.

Many, many years ago, my first job was flying a fire patrol. It was actually quite fun. I lucked out and flew during the hottest summer on record, so I flew a great deal. Pay wasn't very good, but I wasn't doing it for the money at that point. I had a summer job were I could wear a T-shirt and cutoff's at work.

Since this operator is not requiring a float rating, it looks like it is in Central or Southern Maine.

Some young pilot will have a fun summer and maybe lots of stories to tell as the years go by.

I am interested... I can fly out there no problem but I am curious about housing. I have around 200 hours in cessnas!

$7.00 per hour flying a Cessna 150. It is on an on-call basis. Flying these planes around Bethel in the mountains on hot, windy days doesn't sound like a lot of fun. They also have a contract for the Wiscasset area, which is on the coast.
