I am wondering. How many pilots actually have companies call them up and offer them a job after reviewing the "resumes" on findapilot.com (or other resume posting sites for that matter)?

It seems to me that this is a rather embarrassing and desparate way of trying to find a flying job. I would rather be networking and kissing-a$$ than posting my resume out there for months on end with no phone calls.

I never posted a resume on there, but answered an ad on Monday. Turned out it was close to home and I was hired that day as the new CP.

A while back I was cold-called by a company and offered an interview because of my resume on planejobs.com.

I originally signed up for that site because there were some jobs that I wanted to view, but of course you need to be a member to see the full posting. The resume-posting thing was just an extra feature as far as I was concerned - never thought anybody would actually call.
