0 for 42 was a pretty ugly streak so glad today he was able to win a "big one". . . Amazing how he knew it was his day even when he was 3 down to Els at 12.

Beat me to it. I've always been a long-time Phil fan. I was estatic to see how it all ended.

What a fantastic tournament! :D

Hopefully this streak will continue, what a class act guy.

Yes it is, just hope Hootie does not give in to that crazy lady and allow the membership to be changed. This IS a private all male club and they have every right to keep it as is. HJ is also a class act.

Phil is a class act, and always has been, I hope this is the start of a record breaking year.

And I agree, the reason Augusta is an American Institution is because it remains so unchanged and unviolated in it's existance. I like the absence of sponsor signs everywhere.

The female golfers have thier own Tour, thier own majors with thier own special meanings. I never see any males wanting to petition to play in a Woman's event. Why should the reverse be allowed?

I agree. . . I also find it ridiculous when females are invited to play PGA tour events, as we know that is why the LPGA is in existence present day. I surely do not see the policy ever changing which is the "right thing".

T- I knew we would agree on something..:D

"Phil is a class act"... What an understatement. Finally, a professional who knows and appreciates his talent, his game and most of all, his fans. Demeanor wise, truly another Palmer. Player wise, we'll be seeing him around for decades to come!

Last year at Augusta I had the great opportunity to check out Air Phil and walked away with autographed pictures for my son's (one a lefty and HUGE Mikelson fan), myself and my wife. I've followed him around the course each year I've been fortunate to get tickets. If anyone has been to the National, you'll know he'll be welcomed back with open arms for years and years to come.

I'm not a golfer, but am a casual golf fan, and I agree with the others who say that Phil is a class act. I'm very happy for him. Good things happen to good people. It's a shame it took so long, but it was ineviitabale. He always plays aggressive and takes chances and is not afraid to go for it. Sometimes it costs him, but it eventually paid off. He plays my kind of golf.

Congrats Phil. You deserve it. It's long overdue.
