Let's just hope this kind of garbage never happens again. Effectively immediately SkyWest pilots are welcome to jumpseat on any Mesa/Airmidwest flight. Even Freedom...if you want to. If this situation developes again, just make yourself known to the crew. Most of us have extra buddy passes available and I'd be happy to use one to get a guy home!
