After 36 days straight of indoc, systems, and sim training, I passed my ride (with the wonderful assistance of my sim partner) and after LOFT tomorrow, I'm off for a well deserved break before indoc and hitting the line.

Thanks to everyone on here who helped me along the way with encouragement, information, heads-ups, and everything else (especially cart... thanks for everything). I appreciate everyone contributing to this board and making that little contribution to the aviation community. Never forget that we're all in this together. *sniff* I love you guys.

The PAFC is very proud of you. ;) You've come a long way.
Ah, the ole flying club. It has been a long time since the days at the club. Hey T, you know I'm flying the Saab... following in the footsteps of a legend. Speaking of legend, did you ever hear about the full 8 seconds I logged riding the beacon down in PAO? Ah yes, the good old days...

Dude on a serious note, congrats. And yes I'm aware of your beacon hall of fame maneuver. Btw, which model Saabs does Colgan have? The As and straight Bs flight controls handle like a dumptruck- have fun with those in stiff crosswinds. The newer B+s have much smoother and lighter controls. good luck bro

Ok training is not always fun and to say that you didn't mind doing it for free. Thats kinda scary. It is great that you finally got thru it all. Congrats.

Congrats, you got thru 121 training, like 90% on this board. Whooo-ooooo. Keep your minor triumphs to yourself, fer chrissakes.

Wow, took only 11 posts for someone to rain on his parade...

Don't let this Hore bother you Shy, this is the kind of captains you want to avoid, and they are only a few...

SYX, that's a quote Flechas has as his signature from a guy who used to be on the board named Training, 8HRRule, TopGunMav, etc. Funny guy, just flamebait, though. I was paid durring training. Just keeping things straight.

Shy, good to hear you and MW are finished. I forgot what it was like to have a day off. It sure feels good to finally be home. On to OE...

Have fun on IOE. I recommend logging your time as one day per line in your logbook. Otherwise you will fill that thing up real quick and it takes a while to log one leg per line. Get out your low charts and plates during the legs so that the captain doesn't feel by themself. Even if they seem to have all the freqs memorized. The OPs frequency can be found near the bottom of the release.

Fedex/afres Beware!

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE....based on the above comments, we've got another potential***** among us. Let's not wait for another FEDEX 705 before we take action. Get this pilot help now; and if necessary, send him packing!

IMHO, you should think about what you've just said and if nothing registers, seek professional help soonest.

I should take back what I said and apologize. I am an insensitive jerk who likes to have sex with stray dogs and cats. I walk the streets at night and smear peanut butter on my self which attracts the strays. I then corner the strays and quickly stare them down which scares the crap out of them. I then scoop the strays up and have my way with them.

Great Job man!!! I am starting on the SAAB class Monday! Any words of advice?

Have a cold one and relax!

Some saab trivia for ya; I’m sure you already know the meaning of the acronym SAAB – if not, well it stands for Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget (Swedish Aircraft Inc.) Have fun flying it :)
