I've heard over the tower frequency while many aircraft hold for their "final numbers."

Is this their final passenger count and/or weight in the cargo belly. I assume their takeoff speeds would be based on this. If so -- are these numbers entered into the FMC or are the calculations done manually?

The final numbers are: What the pilots current salary is now verses what it will be when they get to their destination. :bawling:
