So, I've busted out ye olde typewriter, and I'm tapping (pounding? my fingers are sore now) away at an application.

When they ask "Minimum Salary desired" or something to that effect, what do you put? I figure go to Airlinepilotpay.com and use that as the benchmark. Any thoughts?

Also does anyone fill out the "other special skills" section and put in their words-per-minute and the word processor? Seems like its not necessary, but I'm not taking anything for granted.

Thanks.

I always put starting salary on mine. For the nice to know stuff, let them know your computer literate, but who isnt these days. I put AutoCad down and its just a coversation piece at an interview if they ask. I also let them know I'm pretty good with a bow staff.

Yeah, me too. I draw a lot, specializing in pencil shading of upper lips.

I've either left it blank or put "as per contract". I think "as per contract" is the most accepted in this situation from what I've seen/read.

As for the CAD I used to be an ME and used AutoCad 11,12,13. We also had Algor FEA and SDRC IDEAS (that stuff wasn't cheap). I almost had my boss convinced we needed to get one of those rapid prototye machines that use the powdered metal stuff. They were just comming out in 95-97 when I in the spindle motor/motion control industry.
