Correct me if im wrong but wasnt this the airline academy that the CFI's were going to strike at??? and the comapny was supposedly getting ready to hire replacements etc ???

I might have them confused but the name does ring that bell.

who cares guys...its way more money than were making..IM IN!!! whadda ya say?

They were very close to striking. Apparently there was some major strife over switching to a 7 day/week operation. Instead of working Mon-Fri, I think (don't quote me) they do 4 on 2 off now.

From what I hear it's still a decent gig, but instructors there used to start at 45k/yr with a 2k/yr raise up to a certain amount....so the new instructors are getting a baby B scale. It is still a much better job than you'll find at your local FBO.

I've had 2 friends work there and they generally have positive things to say...the contract / strike issues last year were contentious to say the least, though.
