I have a possiblity of getting on with Fedex in the next 6 months or so. I don't know anyone who has started there recently, so therefore I am largely unaware of many aspects of the job. How long can a new hire expect to be SO on the 727, and how long can he expect to fly reserve? What kind of schedule will a commuter sitting on reserve have; is it 3 on , 3 off, 4 on, 4 off, etc? When might a new hire be able to bid for a line? I live in the SE, so will MEM be my base, or are there other bases? How long will I have to fly nights; 1 yr, 3 yrs., 5 yrs.? Any thoughts or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Go over to Interview Board > Majors and do a search. That's where all the FDX poop is.
