Does the letter of rec. have to be from a pilot at FedEx or anybody from FedEx.

I don't know if other employees have access to the FedEx "Pilot Employment Recommendation", but a friend of mine sent me the first of two pages in the letter he wrote for me. The opening sentence is. "As a FedEx EMPLOYEE , I am recommending the following individual for consideration for the position of FedEx Crewmember." It specifically asks questions regarding the individuals' flying ability, experience the employee has had with the applicant, etc. It sounds as if it's pretty much meant for a pilot to recommend a pilot, but what the heck, I'd have the company janitor write a letter if I thought it would help. Come to think of it, I'd volunteer to be the company janitor if I thought it would help. Good luck....
