FedEx Recommendations

Could someone tell me who currently works at FedEx how in the world do you get called for an interview?

I have nearly 12,000 hours and two recommendations on file. Do I need a third?

I was furloughed from TWA in 03 and since then have been working at Southern Air flying the "Whale".

I understand a "sponsor" is seperate from a recommendation.

I'm sure it can get frustrating waiting for the call but I promise you we are hiring...a lot. You just have to remember how competitive the market is right now and how many qualified apps are on file...thousands!

It seems like you are doing and have done everything you need to do for now. I would suggest 1) update your profile monthly are the very least and 2) have one of your two LOR set a meeting with an ACP and walk your resume in and tell him why you would be a good fit at FedEx.

You have to have a pilot with FedEx sponsor you. ie. take you or your resume into see the chief pilot or asst. cp. good luck.
