Anyone get training date calls lately? I know May 22nd ANC MD-11 calls went out. Any Boeing FO calls? More medical update/whizz test update calls since the first round, or did they abandon that? Update on when SO training classes might start? Is it really not until Sep?

I got a call on Tuesday to update the drug test and send a copy of an updated medical. Interviewed the end of January.

Just a pee call for me on the 11th. Interview was in Jan. Also wanted an updated Medical. Thats it....no other info.

Another guy I interviewed with got the call yesterday for a June 5 class. He was offered MD11 ANC or Bus in Subic. He took the MD11. He has a lot of Bus time, but I don't know the specifics. He also said 10 pilots in May 22 class and 10 in June 5.

Any speculation on why the small class sizes? Haven't new hire classes historically been 16 or so?

Class size has to due with how many we can put through the MD class at any one time. We've historically put 4 F/Os per week through the program. We've recently up'ed that to 6 and now it looks like we'll going to 10. Has to due with device availability. We're currently looking at Frankfurt for device support. Atlanta is also back in the picture.

Everything I've heard says we will fill all the ANC slots with new hires this summer before we start training guys already on the property.

A buddy interviewed the first week of Feb and just got the call today to do an updated drug test. So you should hear soon.

Things I have heard.....

Let's see, info for the poolies:

1. approximately 200 in the pool

2. MD-11 ANC to begin on the 22nd/MD-11 Sys in June

3. MD-11 Sys classes to have 20 (each) in June, July, & Aug +
a few in Sept (read: another new hire basic indoc in late May/early
June to cover the other 10 bodies needed for Sys in June)

4. MD-11 isn't FIFO, but by former equipment + experience

5. no word on Boeing classes...... maybe someone can take a look at that training letter again......

6. Frankfort is a go or a no-go, depending on whom is telling you

7. Interviewing this week + last week (approximately 12 per week)
