FedEx has bought World Airlines.

I just bought Hustler and Playboy. Do you have the news release to back this up? I looked around at World and FedEx and didn't see anything. Of course, it wouldn't be the first time a rumor was posted on this board.

Not only that, but they are going to staple all the FedEx guys to the bottom of the UPS list. Something about, getting away with it once before.

Just as long as the stapler is full. I actually heard the same rumor from a non pilot in MEM but they didn't specify a specific airline.

I hate adding to the rumor mill, but it's fun! I just flew with a former ACP who said we were looking at acquiring Gemeni. Out of all the cargo airlines that would make the most sense because they have DC-10's and Maddogs. Of course, how many times have we heard rumors like that. Never believe it until it's parked on the ramp in purple and white.
