FedEx family recs?

I have an uncle who works as a driver for FedEx. Does anyone know if those sort of recs help at all, or is it just in the FlightOps arena?

I used to work for FedEx moving boxes for a few years and from what I've found those type of rec's will not do much. I'm sure it won't hurt any but the only type of rec's that will help you that are not pilot referals are from FedEx senior managment that you have worked under. And those can really be used only after you have you're sponser and a few pilot references. Managment rec's are used really only for character recomends after you get the initial interview.
