Fedex classes

For those of us in the pool, has any of you Fedex folks heard any recent info on when the next classes are gonna start? Thanks.

I have heard a wide range of rumors, but the majority of them lean towards March. You can bet, though, if there is a guard/reserve call-up (which looks like it will happen), everything will be accelerated.

The guard/reserve call-up threat was the reason for the last minute class of 24 recently. I've been told that percentage wise, the 727 S/Os have the most involved with the guard/reserves since we typically are the junior folks that could use a little extra scratch.

Next Class

The word to the Nov 18 class was that the next class was going to come on-line in March. That is from the folks in the training department.

That being said....our class was supposed to start in September. When it got cancelled we were told not to expect a class until January - but got called for a November class. So it can certainly change in an instant.

We are certainly pulling for ALL of you guys to get in to FedEx. The more the better.
