Fedex 727s - RVSM?

I would assume so, but just wanted to put it out to the board, is the entire FDX 727 fleet going to be brought up to RVSM standards?

I was just wondering the samething yesterday. I hope they do. i love me a good 3 engine airplane. Hope someone has some info on this topic.

A fedex pilot told me they were going to replace all the 727's with 737's. Whether he was feeding me a line or not, I can't tell...but that's what he said. I would assume that they would not spend the money to upgrade the 727's if they are looking at making a change in their fleet?

I have read rumors that FedEx is going to get 30-50 B-737s from US Airways.
