Was just wondering the status on the Fed X pilots and how long it will go if they do not get a contract. ie.."working under protest" like the UPS guys have been for what? Three years now....

First of all, it is FedEx. Never heard the term "working under protest". Not sure it even exists in the RLA. UPS is currently in mediation (correct me if I am wrong). FedEx is still in negotiations with the company. The contract has about 25 sections, so it is not something that can be done in a week or two. I don't know when UPS's contract expired, but ours expired exactly one year ago.

Contracts controlled by RLA have an amendable date, they NEVER expire.

I like the Fed X variant. Sounds the same as FedEx. Kinda like Racer X from speedracer.

Actually some MEC dudes were there to break the news to us that hadn't heard.

Man, did my heart sink when I pulled in and saw 4 guys in uniform!

But later, I went to the AOC and saw how many guys in jeans were there, jumping home after the cancellation. LOTS of them....

The Family Awareness Committee folks were making phone calls on Tuesday - - I called a whole buncha folks myself.
