A320 to a C208? dam man, thats a sure lock for "downgrade of the year" :(
 
Yep, it was like riding a moped after driving a Ferrari. I spend so much time at home (with the kids) now though that the $$$ per hour probably is about the same as the last job. Not all bad...

cool man...ive yet to give up my king air(s) for that very reason :)
 
I used to work for Wiggins, (not a pilot) and it wasn't a bad gig flying the 'Vans for FedEx. They have pretty good radios, and since FedEx pays for all the maint., the planes are in good shape. Some of the senior guys fly less than an hour a day, and pretty much everyone has weekends off, except for a few runs. We even had a guy working for us that was an accountant during the day, and flew a run in the evening and early morning. But, on the other hand, it was single pilot in pretty much every kind of weather you can think of. About the only time the flight was cx was if the weather was 0/0, or there was so much snow the delivery vehicles couldn't make it to the airport.
