Hey, I'm all for taxiing at the safest [slowest] speed! But every Captain I fly with taxies like we are racing in the Indy5000 (Yes, I said 5000 for emphasis).

Just do what I used to do. When you're taxiing out at mach fast, just take a long look around and then look at the dimwitted speed demon Captain you're flying with and deadpan "so, who we racing?" That usually gets the point across.
