FDX -- Shipping a motorcycle from Alaska

Does anyone have any insight on the approximate cost and difficulty of shipping a motorcycle from ANC to MEM or somewhere else in the lower 48? Is the employee/interline discount available for something like this?

It would be easier if you go to the FedEx website or call 1-800-gofedex (1-800-463-3339)

They will need the weight, package diminesions, origin and destination postal codes. Is it to be picked up from/delivered to a residence? Will a lift gate be needed to get the thing into the truck? Do you want it delivered on a Saturday?

Correct me if I am wrong, but the interline discount is on FDX air- next/2nd and 3rd day.

Call a freight forwarder, they will give you the best deal.
