Does any one on here know the proper fcc radio permit for the airlines? I need to get it for a interview. Any steps would be a great help I have been to the fcc web site but there is a lot of forms there just want to make sure I fill the right one out.

Rectricted Radio Telephone Permit.....FCC.gov ........it's there it just takes a little searching to find it. Just another way the government can make you throw 50 bucks down the toilet.

Follow the instructions on this page:

http://wireless.fcc.gov/uls/

Don't pick the limited use one, you want the "full" one. Be patient with the system, its slow, and didn't work when I first tried it. The tech support guys were pretty helpful though (surprising from the government).

And yes, $50 dollars to simply fulfill some paperwork, total BS in my opinion. But, its required to fly internationally....

Go to the FCC website then on the far left go to:

Obtaining Licenses
Commercial Radio Operator
Commercial Radio Operator License Program
Far left again: Types of Licenses
Restricted Radiotelephone
