What is the type of radio permit for aviation? I went to the website to get one and it had all of these choices about which type you should get. They had one that said "aircraft" and one that said "restricted radio operators permit". Which one do I get? I have a interview coming up and they require it!

Thanks

there is a form available off of the FCC site that acts as a temporary license while your paperwork is being processed. I have all of the form numbers if you would like them.

anyone know if/how you can get a replacement? mine sort of got damaged, and would like to get a new one, one that you can read all the letters and numbers on, instead of just a big blob of ink on a green colored card...
i looked briefly at fcc.gov website, but couldn't really find the proper door to go through.

FCC Form 1070Y explains the required documents for a replacement on page 4. You need the following to replace:
Form 605
Form 159
$50
Payment code = PADM

All of the above forms are listed at this site:
http://www.fcc.gov/formpage.html

Hope that helps.
