cpt posted a good link. however, it is still rather tricky to complete. if you have any problems i suggest calling the number posted on the website and have them help you out. also, call them after completing the app. and make sure it went through.

i just did mine 2 weeks ago, 55 bucks and about 10 days later it showed up in the mail. they even give you a copy to frame, this is really dumb though.

does anyone know of a way to get a copy of it if you lost it?? I got mine way back...and dont wanna pay for something that used to be free!!!...any ideas?

PC12somethingorother....

Just call 1-888-CALL-FCC and speak to licensing, I"ll bet they can help you.

I also just filled it out, took five minutes, paid by credit card and all I have to do is sit back and wait for this thing to come to daddy...

I also called to make sure it went through alright--nada problemo!

What a joke! I wish we didn't need such a worthless certificate!

Word.

I guess if it meant something, that would be different. But the fact that all you have to do is fill out the forms and pay the fee and it's yours...it just means nothing. You don't have to pass a test or do any training or accomplish anything. Just have money.

BS....you have to "be able to keep a rough written log."

I think I'll put this one over my diploma!
