I dont know if it has been asked already since im a new guy, but im just curious to know, what is your favorite airport to fly into and why?

Me,
I have not technically "flown" in it, but i like going into MSP, you can always see a bunch of lakes and i love to see the jets decend over the freeway...kinda neat to see from the ground, I cant help but look up(or down if im in the plane)

That or Schipol in Amsterdam... The scenery of the city is just amazing

KFXE - Ft. Lauderdale, FL

I know when I am cleared down to 2200' and cross the PRAIZ NDB it will be about twenty minutes before I am on my way home to an ice cold Heineken.

Alas,

EZE

Best looking gals, best food, best wine.

EZE is the main airport around Buenos Aires, Argentina....
Nice place, and cheap these days after their currency took a dive.

I always liked the Expressway Visual Approach into LaGuardia or the River Visual into Washingon National ( or is that Reagan Airport ? ).

Nice airport. However, d*mned if you're short, d*mned if you're long on that one...

I don't really have a fav. Sky Harbor in Duluth, MN I've heard is pretty, but haven't been up there.

Rochester, Minnesota (RST) has a great restaurant with my favorite desert, so that gets my vote.

Blue Angels at Arnold Palmer's airport (latrobe) had the best seafood buffet, hands down. . . Recently heard that they shut the doors which I hope is not the case. . . .

Hollister 3O7

It has antiques, warbirds (including several Mustangs and at least 1 jet), skydiving, gliders, a fire base, and a nice little restaurant among other things... all the best things in aviation rolled into one.

Denver International AirportKDEN

Great airport to leave from, and always a wellcome sight when returning back from a long trip.......

Also like Honolulu Intl, and Frankfurt AM Main

Gunnison, Colorado was interesting flying the approach at night in a Cessna.

I'm not sure about favorates, most of the ones I really enjoyed were out west.

What about Telluride Colorado? Only seen it from the road going to the airport, that has to be one interesting flight in/out of there........

Gunnison looks like it wouldnt be to bad, Glenwood Springs is wierd though, Montrose seems pretty normal, Vail/EGE looks like it could get interesting with a 757......

Copalis Beach (S16) on the Pacific coast of Washington State. Land on the sand, and check the tide tables before you go there!
