The last few times I have flown, I have noticed that when the FA's point out the lights that lead to the emergency exits they no longer say: "In case of a loss in power, white lights lead to red light which lead to emergency exits." Now all they say, is "In case of a loss in power lights along the floor will light up leading to the emergency eixts." How come they leave this most important part out of the brefing?

Maybe because not all aircraft have emergency lights on the floor. Some have a type of glow in the dark strip that doesn't actually "light up".
