Can anyone post the SLI details? Inquiring minds want to know. Just the facts please.
 
If you're SWAPA or AT ALPA, you already have it. If you're not, it's all here on FI and the search function works well. Way too complicated of an agreement to post here as an answer.

With that said, the basics are...

- AT guys lose between 2-4 years DOH
- Southwest guys get all 737 CA positions as they transition to Southwest
- AT guys keep all 717 CA/FO positions as long as 717's are at Southwest
- No base protections for either side
- AT 717 guys stay on AT contract for 3 years then snap to SWA pay-rates
- AT guys who transition to 737 come over as FO on SWA FO pay rates and can upgrade after 2015 if they have seniority AND there's a vacancy


What did I miss?

That is close but not exactly correct. The SWA pilots are restricted from bidding the 717 until 2015. In 2015, any pilot on the list can be awarded either seat on the 717 based on systemwide seniority and available vacancies.
 
Correct...I typed too fast and included too little to truly represent the deal. I did say it was complicated, though.

Be willing to bet these 717s are gone by then or turned into 737s.
 
How can u turn a 717 into a 73? I am guessing move the engines to hang under the wings :)

You would have to tear out the user friendly automation, make a lot of it manual, and spread it haphazardly around the cockpit while figuring out how to improve the performance on those 1960's wings.

Wings are not 1960's. They are completely redesigned. Everything else, well no comment!
