And Continental continues to do business with these clowns. Not only Gulfstream but Colgan as well.
 
FAA seems concerned about dispatchers working 10 hrs. Wonder what kind of a job they would do if they had to consistantly work 14 and sometimes 15?
 
Meanwhile during a similar timeframe limp-wristed armchair captains on this board were excoriating a Gulfstream captain for refusing an airplane. :erm:
 
the article makes it pretty clear that the mx write up issue was not the basis for the fine. I think the Armchair Captians were right - the mx was deferred within the scope of their maintenance and flight ops procedures and there was no issue with the deferral.

Absolutely agree. I'm still waiting on the revised duty/rest regulations that should have been issued YEARS ago. It's embarrassing that it's taking this long.
