I use Dr. Laferty in Polk City.....Very good and fair. Look hime up under Polk City Medical Center/Clinic.

I have used him for 6 yerars.

there is a doc that will give medicals free if you're a cfi. i think he's located in clearwater. don't know his name. "starvingcfi" should know his name if you pm him.

Dr. John Carthy in tampa. 105 for a 1st and it took all of 15 mins

he is on waters about 10 mins from i275

You can get a list of all AMEs on the FAA website. Find one ASAP though. When I needed one in November, they were all booked up for the following 2 weeks.

I used Dr. Bergnes (at the Gessler Clinic) in Winter Haven. Good guy, and when my BP was on the high side, he kept me around until it read in limits. My kinda guy.
