good...only 2 more years until it gets put into the FAR's, and I am sure some greedy senator will earmark some of the research funds to go to his "FAA Duty Time Limitation Research Foundation"...thanks FAA and thanks inbred, fat, lazy Senators.
 
Be careful what you wish for... The way the govt. works, this could result in some very long trips, and it could also result in destroying a lot of peoples' commutes.

Bingo. And how to they manage people commuting 5 hours by car before their "duty day" begins?
 
The legislation that was passed required the FAA to come up with new rules within 180 days of it passing and required implementation within 1 year of legislation passage.
