Hi All,
What regionals are hiring? Does anyone know what the requirements are these days? Thanks!

Hi, who is paying more than 100k a year.
Thanks

Is NASA looking for Shuttle Astronauts this month. That sounds like a hoot.

Does anyone know their mins???

ShyFlyGuy,

Gotcha!!

Hi everyone, I'm too lazy to read down a few pages, so when someone needs a captain for a 737 or above please call me.

Weekdays only and please not after 6pm. Thanks.

i really don't think nasa is hiring. there selection is very very competitive anyway.
if they really are please post there mininmuns.

Hmmmmm,

I've been waiting for my dream airline to post me here, too. All I get is static and bad career advice. I wonder if calling an actual airline would yield results? Better yet, why not read one of 10,000,000,000,000,000 posts in the *gasp* regional forum at flightinfo.com?

BTW- Hi! I was wondering how the United/USAirways merger is going? Do you think there will be more mainline jobs as a result? What are the requirements?

Capt. JD,

I see many of the humorists here are enjoying your question.

Anyways, as one of them suggested, search wide and deep through the existing threads.

The Cliff notes version: it appears some of the regionals hiring at/near your TT, depending on your ME time, may include: Great Lakes, Skyway, Commutair. Possible longshots: CHQ, TransStates, Executive, Horizon, Mesaba, Eagle. Although many of the above may be at or above ATP minimums to be competitive.

What an exclusive club we have here

Geez, somebody, presumably somebody who is new to our little cyber crew room (first post?), posts a question, and in doing so, doesn't flame or insult anybody, and everybody has to jump him. Nice going kids.

Re: What an exclusive club we have here

Uh, I am still waiting for that gig flying the Concord, anybody knows when I can expect an interview? Thanks.

Hey everybody.........IT'S TAB EXPRESS F/O!!!!!!!

He's back!!!!!!!!

How are you?

BTW, spelling is a requirement, as previously stated above. My son gets bad grades in the 3rd grade for his lack of using appropriate mechanics (capital letters, punctuation, etc.). Let's see if I can help......

"I (caps) really don't think that (missed that one) NASA (caps...it's an abbreviation) is hiring. Their (possessive, not "over") selection is very, (comma) very competitive, (comma, again) anyway. If (caps) they really are, (comma) please post their (possessive, not "over") minimums (spelling).

Enjoy

I certainly have missed this guy. One of my best sources of entertainment.

I did the NASA thing, but left after 3 months (they want you to work weekends). I did leave with a Type rating on the Shuttle though....

Oh, and the food was awful.

Space Shuttle type! I'm sure that will come in handy when it comes time to sit down in initial training at all the other companies that operate them! "Well, over at NASA, this is how did that...".

Sounds like their is allot of pended up frustration in these responses, haha! It was entertaining to read, one of you gave an English lesson? What that all about? I guess it's probably easier to be a smart ass when your not face to face with someone...

JD,

Relax, man. As you'll soon discover, this daycare/message board is filled with insults, profanity, juvenile responses, industrial-strength flaming and *occasionally* good advice. Pull up a comfy chair and a beer, and search earlier threads, and you'll find most of your answers.

No, it's that information is covered constantly on this board. Perform a search for the topic or airline. Visit the company websites for hiring and minimums. A partial (and somewhat outdated list) list of regionals can be found at http://www.raa.org

Some of us like to poke fun at the poor grammar used on this board.

their - there, your - you're, to - too, were - we're, etc

I just got a job with Northwest flyin' the '74 to Japan. PM me your resume -- I'll walk it in for you. If you use the word "allot" though, it is spelled "a lot".

Good luck, dude.
