Part 135/91 Jet F/O Jobs in So Cal?

I'm putting on my best suit, arming myself with a pilot of updated resumes, and next week I will make the rounds of all the likely spots at BUR, VNY, SMO, LGB, SNA in what will be a campaign to land myself in the right seat of some kind of jet. Hopefuly in a long-term position with upgrade potential. Keeping in mind I have no type ratings or experience in any of the aircraft they are likely to operate, unless it's a BBJ!

I'm getting a list together of places to visit; any info. or advice would be appreciated. As you can see from my "resume", I'm kind of entering uncharted waters.

Falcon 50 at LGB

Reepi,

Saw an ad posted for a DA-50 PIC and SIC at LGB. Here's the link www.flightworks.com/employmentopps.htm . Also check with Jetsource out at Palomar they have been advertising lately and I've sent them numerous resume's but they are very slow to respond. There are tons of possibilities in your area, if you need a list of 135 operators check out this link www.guides.com/acg/guide/operators/byLocation.asp it will list nearly all of the charter operators in socal. Some good and some not so good.

Good luck and if it turns into something let me know.

Thanks Rice.

I already sent Flightworks a resume. I've also been on the website you mentioned and am using it as a primary source of info.

You know the old adage when it comes to these kind of jobs - "By the time you see the ad., the job's gone!"

I agree though So Cal has a ton of operators and someone needs to fly those planes.

Howdy!
Rumors heard flying around Van Nuys: Clay Lacy, Sun-Quest, and Raytheon all looking for Capt/FO. Raytheon just ended their two wanted ads, but a third is still posted on the company web site.
Fly SAFE!
