Flight Attendant: Greensboro and Columbus

Basic Function
The Flight Attendant oversees the safe operation and regulatory requirements of all inflight activities related to the aircraft cabin as well as performed exceptional customer service for all passengers during the inflight portion of their travel experience. The Flight Attendant reports to the Manager of Inflight and Onboard Sales.


Responsibilities
• Able to report to work within 1.5 hours of assignment notification.
• Adhere to all scheduled duty assignments or re-assignments.
• Ensure all emergency equipment on board the aircraft is secured, with valid
inspection dates, and in working order.
• Coordinate with other crewmembers to ensure a safe and reliable airline
operation.
• Ensure passengers receive prompt and courteous service during their flight.
• Strive to reach monthly and/or annual on board sales goals.
• Accountable for all sales transactions at the conclusion of each working day.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the aircraft cabin.
• Direct passengers on and off the aircraft.
• Assist passengers with carry-on baggage.
• Prepare the cabin for departure and arrival as required by the FAA and
Skybus procedures.
• Successfully complete all required training.
• Project a professional image that commands respect for the Flight Attendant
Adhere to established uniform and appearance guidelines.
• Conduct various required announcements.
• Able to maintain and display a working knowledge of FAA requirements as
well as Skybus and departmental policies and procedures.
• Reporting all operational issues and deviations in a timely manner to Inflight
Management.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

*Cannot have a DUI in the past 5 years.
*Must successfully pass a pre-employment and any post employment random drug test.
*Must be able to obtain a passport.
*Must be able to travel to all foreign countries.
*Must be at least 5’1” in height in order to reach overhead bins.
*Must be at least 19.
*Must be able to work any days and hours required including weekends and holidays.
*Must be within 1.5 hours of the airport on reserve days.
*Must have a laptop computer with wireless capabilities for training.
*Must have basic computer skills including knowledge of email, internet, and Microsoft Office.
*Must have a bank account for payroll direct deposit.
*Must have a cell phone or pager to be contacted by Crew Scheduling once flying.
*Must be able to remain on the Aircraft for the entire day without a smoke break.
*Must be willing to pay for airport parking and uniform.
*Must be able to perform duties with no prescribed or over the counter drugs which are banned by the FAA.
*Body size cannot exceed specific aircraft dimensions. (example: jumpseat, harness without modification, cabin aisle and emergency exits)

NetJets Aviation Falcon Flight Attendant Position

1. What are the responsibilities of a NetJets Aviation Flight Attendant?
  • Plans and creates an exceptional, personalized service for NetJets Owners and Guests.
  • Provides highest level of safety and security.
  • Orders, prepares, and serves meals for NetJets Owners and Guests, as well as crew.
  • Ensures uncompromising levels of hygiene and cleanliness in the aircraft cabin.
  • Completes aircraft inventory and restocks the aircraft.
2. What is the training process for a NetJets Aviation Flight Attendant?

Training consists of three weeks of indoctrination, medical/first aid and safety training at the Columbus, OH facility. When complete, the flight attendant will start his/her first few tours with a Line Orientation Trainer until a final check ride is completed. Every year, the flight attendant will undergo one week of recurrent training.

3. What type of aircraft is NetJets Aviation currently staffing?

A 10 passenger, 3 crewmember Dassault Falcon 2000EX/2000 Corporate Jet. Flight Attendant staffing levels will be determined on an as needed basis.

4. NetJets Aviation currently hires Flight Attendants for the following domiciles.

Columbus, OH (CMH), Teterboro, NJ (TEB), Dallas, TX (DAL), West Palm Beach, FL (PBI), Los Angeles, CA (LAX).

5. What are the qualifications needed to apply to become a NetJets Aviation Flight Attendant?
  • Must have experience in either corporate or first-class aviation, yacht, concierge, or five-star fine dining services.
  • Must have excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Must possess the right to be employed in the United States as well as obtain a U.S. passport.
  • College degree and culinary experience preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
NetJets International (Gulfstream large cabin aircraft) Flight Attendant Requirements
  • Must have experience in either corporate or first-class aviation, yacht, concierge, or five-star fine dining services.
  • Must have excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Must possess the right to be employed in the United States as well as obtain a U.S. passport.
  • College degree and culinary experience preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

The way i read it you don't have it straight. I think its letting the FA's effected by the shutdowns know Net Jets is hiring. This comes from a public school guy so I could be wrong as well. Now where did I set that beer down at.


Edit: HOLY SMOKES you were right it is skybus and Net jets looking for FAs. See what the short public school bus will get for you.
