F-35 first in-flight STOVL engagement successful.

Not just a F35 issue but the entire MEU air wing is growing in size and numbers of A/C to become a much more capable air wing when deployed. The new LHA class ship due in 2012 will not have a well deck in back, instead a much larger hanger able to accommodate the new wing.

So, no. No weight or LHA issues. If you feel otherwise, please provide a link or citation.

Haven't heard or read of any issues with wingspan and associated space issues, but I did read a couple articles that mention issues with the heat of the exhaust of the F-35B....along with the V-22. Here's a link.
