That is frozen blue ice from the LAV.

It's a camera...so "they" can spy on you. In all seriousness, I wouldn't count on too many Raptor guys chiming in. The community has had a few (one?) instance of someone (ahem, SQ/CC at Elmendorf) getting their peepee spanked hard for too much posting on an internet site.
