Anybody know what was up with the Hornet at ADS on Tuesday?

Pretty cool, especially lighting the burners during the break. Bet he/she caused some 911 calls.

There was one at ICT a couple of years ago. The pilot was visiting his family briefly during a trip somewhere. He tok off and lit the burners, going nearly vertical. His nephew was outside Yingling with his Dad watching his uncle's jet burn some gas and cause a pretty loud scene. It was one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time, bet that kid told all of his buddies about it, he couldn't have been more than 5 or so.

I saw it take off Wednesday. He made a few 360's SE of the airport, maybe because of other traffic not sure. I would have thought he'd already have at least BRAVO clearance before taking off, if not full blown IFR clearance. Don't know the regs for them. ???
