One of the guys on my trip said the footage showed a "CC" fin flash. I haven't seen it but if that's true then it was an AD bird from Cannon AFB.

One of the early reports about the AlJazeera footage mentioned a parachute seen near the wreck. The parachute could have been staged I suppose.
