To all who might have advice:

Trying to get some insight on where to go after FTU. I've heard a lot of good things about Lakenheath (sp?), but also that it's a lot of work. I wouldn't mind staying here at SJ, as I'm fairly close to home, Georgia. How will where I go factor into my choice of assignments later down the road? I'm single, but not far from changing that status in probably about another year or so. Any insight, advice, suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Single = Overseas

Go for Lakenheath. All single fighter pilots should take their first assignment overseas. I did, unfortunately it was Korea. All my bros however were in USAFE, and I wish I could have experienced what they did. The flying is a lot better than at SJ. You'll go cross-country, see cool sights, I could go on and on. If there is another incident requiring airpower, Lakenheath is the tip of the spear.

yeah, don't do it.

Another reason to get your overseas tour done early, she may not like LN. Some do, a lot don't.

One more thing...tell your WSO to shut up. :D
