The guy (s) that punched out of that Tom Cat later became the CP over at Gulfstream. Bob somebody, sorry I can't recall his name. Did most of the demo flights for Gulfstream on the G1V when it was a brand new aircraft.

....

Anyone know, if you lit the afterburners during the takeoff roll and didnt turn 'em off, how many minutes before youd run the tanks dry?

Fighter Fling

That video was made for the 2004 Fighter Fling. The entire video is about 22 minutes. My dad was actually in that video (VF-31), he was the one in the beginning of the video that did the low altitude supersonic pass by the ship. It was back in 1989 during the Malta Summit. He did a practice run the day before Bush 41 toured the ship. The day of the actual flyby for the President was crappy, but we ended up with some pretty cool stills of the flyby. It was really cool to see that they used the footage of his practice run in this the last Fighter Fling of the F-14.

Here is the link containing a downloadable full version of the same video it is labeled Fighter Fling 2004. Enjoy.
